Using the pocket charts from
Target's dollar section, I will be
able to manage the choices my
students will have during
Literacy time. We will
complete 3 rotations of the
Daily 5, which I call "Rounds".
The pocket chart on the left,
has a columns of pink cards,
which will have student names
on them. They will choose
what activity they would like
to do for each round.

reading groups. For the third
round, I will meet with
students individually.
Before students arrive, I will
put "Meet with teacher" cards
in certain pockets, to let them
know not to choose a Daily 5
activity for that round
because they will be in a
guided reading group with me.
